At SST we have unrivalled training and safety consulting experience both internationally and in the Middle East. With 2 ILTPTM Instructor Trainers on the SST Board and over 20 years combined training experience in the Middle East.
- Managing Director
Scott Deisley, is a highly experienced executive within the hospitality and amusement industries and has been involved with Ellis & Associates for over 29 years, starting as a licensed Lifeguard in 1987.
Most recently he served as Vice President of Waterpark Operations for Atlantis the Palm in Dubai, and has held management roles with industry giants such as Jumeirah/Wild Wadi, Palace Entertainment, the Morey Organization and Schlitterbahn.
The commercial lessons learnt by Scott over the years position him to help the business succeed, and with his knowledge of E&A and the E&A programs, positions him to make a difference for our clients and their guests.
- SST Director
Richard is the Senior Vice President of Operations for Jeff Ellis & Associates, providing aquatic safety and risk management services for over 1000 international clients in the aquatic industry including Lifeguard training, Aquatic Safety Operational Auditing, Aquatic Facility Safety Inspections, Accident Investigation.
Richard has over 29 years experience training ILTPTM and ECSI training programmes around the world and operating facilities with ILTPTM trained staff. Richard is also an ILTPTM and ECSI Instructor Trainer and developed the Leadership Training, Operational Audit and Lifeguard Vigilance Awareness Training Programmes at Ellis & Associates. As a Director and Shareholder in SST, Richard is responsible for the development of the training programmes and client services, ensuring the integrity of the training delivered by SST in the Middle East.
- Business Development Director
Steve joined SST in January 2014 in a consultancy role and was instrumental in developing the business across the UAE and SE Asia. Steve became a member of the team in March 2014 and has used his wealth of experience in International client management to drive SST forward into the business it is today.
Steve oversees all client relationships for SST and is looking forward to developing long term relationships with all our current and future clients.
- Senior Training Manager
Ryan is a graduate of The Ohio State University with a B.A. in Strategic Communication. While in college Ryan spent his free time working as the Assistant Director of Operations for Sage Hospitality Resources at Cherry Valley Lodge, as well as an Aquatics Supervisor and Instructor at Zoombezi Bay at the Columbus Zoo.
In 2009 after gaining operation and instructing experience, Ryan became a National Staff Auditor for Jeff Ellis & Associates, Inc. and continued to do so until the spring of 2013. In the spring of 2013 Ryan relocated to south Florida to work for the Parks and Recreation Department of the City of Coral Gables to oversee Venetian Pool operations, training, and food & beverage. Ryan became an Instructor Trainer for Jeff Ellis & Associates in 2010 and is a current AFO and EMT-Basic. He has volunteered for World Waterpark Association and has served on the Jeff Ellis & Associates International Aquatic Safety School Faculty. In the spring of 2014 Ryan relocated to Dubai to join the Safety Skills Training Staff.
